Many Flexible Shaft applications require custom designed Flexible Shafts, however some do not.

For low-volume applications, the use of custom designed Flexible Shafts can be costly and time consuming due to the engineering effort required in the development process.

S.S. White has found there are certain designs and applications that come up over and over again and would be better served by standard, "off the shelf" solutions.

For these applications, we have developed a line of readily available "standard" Flexible Shafts called Ready-Flex ®.

 

They are offered in ten different diameter sizes to cover the majority of torque requirements and are available in a variety of End Coupling configurations.
