Company Events
At S.S. White Technologies, we will never forget that works needs to be enjoyable as well as fun. Having a good time with coworkers can foster better communication and allow creativity to flourish. Considering you are spending 40 hours a week at work, you should enjoy what you do and the people you interact with.

We treat our coworkers like family. This company is full of hard working, passionate individuals, who are dedicated to constant improvement of the organization at every level. There are many reasons why people enjoy being a part of S.S. White. Below are some of the activities that traditionally take place from year to year.
401K Education Day
401K Education Day was to inform employees about the processes of saving. This was an informative event, which featured representatives from TransAmerica . Breakfast and lunch were provided.
Bring Your Child to Work Day
Each year, S.S. White plans an entire day for the children. The purpose of this day is to expose children to multiple professions and to inspire them. The agenda includes presentations conducted by the management team of each department, a tour of the plant and participation in a mock interview. The most interesting part of all is the critical thinking game. Whether it is the marshmallow test or the egg trick, each child leaves S.S. White with more knowledge about the abundance of professions in the world. It is a wonderful concept to inspire a child.
Company Holiday Party
S.S. White’s holiday parties are filled with jubilant memories that last for years to come. This party started with a beautiful cocktail hour where employees and their guests mingled together to express their holiday wishes. Before dinner was served, we reviewed the year’s successes together, announced the President’s Award, and the Employee of the Year Awards. The rest of the evening consisted of a luxurious dinner, an amazing talent show, a memorable karaoke contest and of course, a night filled with laughter.
Company Dinner Cruise
The S.S. White company dinner cruise was another event full of jubilant memories. The party started with a beautiful cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing. We also hired an exotic belly dancer, which brought tons of excitement into the room
Corporate Challenge
In the spirit of tradition, S.S. White has participated in the Verizon Corporate Classic 5k for several years. This event takes place on a summer evening in Morristown, NJ. S.S. White employees attend this event wearing S.S. White fashion and ready to get fit. Afterwards, the company rents a banquet room at a nearby hotel, to host a company dinner and to conduct a raffle for those who participated in the day’s events. True to S.S. White fashion, this is a family event.
Hawaiian Shirt Day
Hawaiian Shirt Day is an ongoing tradition at S.S. White Technologies. It began as a fun idea to get the company excited during summer months and has since turned into a phenomenon. On that day, each employee participates by wearing his or her favorite Hawaiian shirt to display summer spirit. During lunchtime, a wonderful BBQ is hosted for the entire company. It is great to see everyone fellowship with each other and to just take a nice Hawaiian break.
Ice Cream Day
Ice Cream Day is a newer tradition at S.S White. This is a time for fellowship amongst employees while enjoying a much needed cool down with some ice cream. The company usually hires an old-school ice cream truck similar to make the festivities more meaningful.
National Sales Meeting
The Shukla Medical National Sales Meeting is an annual event held in different locations each year. It is the perfect opportunity for a nationwide group of Independent sales representatives to meet and discuss the wide variety of Shukla Medical products. Reps are trained on the roll-out of all new products while further discussing the updates and advantages of existing ones. Capped off with a spectacular Awards dinner and an always fun team building events (i.e. Zip Line), the Shukla Medical National Sales meeting is one of the organization's marquee events.
Quality Toast
It is a tradition in the Quality Department to have an end of year toast. This tradition began with a previous manager, whom felt as though it was important to recognize how valuable this department is to S.S. White Technologies, and how greatly it contributes to the successes of the company. This toast adds a nice final touch to the end of another successful year.
Sean Hanna Run
Sean Hanna Foundation 5k Walk/Run is a public charity, whose aim is to ease the burdens of patients suffering from childhood cancers and their families, in honor of the life of Sean Hanna. On that day, S.S. White employees and their families gathered in the beautiful Duke Island Park of Bridgewater to participate in the race and enjoy the charming summer morning.
Shukla Medical Fair
The introduction of a new medical product is always cause for celebration. Shukla Medical hosted a company medical fair to announce the newest version of the X®-Extract Knee. The entire company joined in on the celebration with raffles and prizes, treats and t-shirts, and great food.
St. Patricks Day
On St. Patrick’s Day, employees join in on the spirit of the day by wearing their favorite green attire. Each year, a company-sponsored event is held at Gabrielle’s Bar and Grill with a private section just for S.S. White employees. It is nice to socialize with fellow coworkers and their families for a few hours and enjoy a drink. Bringing our families together is what S.S. White is all about; so a wonderful company outing on a very free spirited holiday falls right in line.
Town Hall
Town Hall meetings are conducted each month to keep employees abreast of everything happening within the company. During the town hall, Employee of the Month is announced; birthday and anniversaries are celebrated as well as new hires. Additionally, there is an update on safety checks within the building, the previous month’s revenue for each department and a recap of company events with a reminder of those to come.
